Using a pregnancy tests
Some sensitive tests can be used from day two after having unprotected sex, although some tests are carried out after the first day of a woman's missed period.

Where to get a pregnancy test?
- GP (free)
- Pharmacy (free if you are under 25s)
- Sexual Health Clinic at the Royal United Hospital (free)
- Contraception and Sexual Health service in Bath and Keynsham (free)
- School or college nurse (free).
Test results; if you have a test result that is positive, which means that you are pregnant, please go the contraception and sexual health service or your GP to talk over your results.
Emergency Hormonal Contraception, if you require emergency contraception as you have had unplanned and unprotected sex and you do not want to be pregnant, then please also visit one of the above clinics as soon as possible to access free emergency contraception.
